Fatal head-on collision in Inver Grove Heights involves woman, state patrol reports
A fatal incident occurred in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota on Tuesday night when an 80-year-old woman, Phillis Deboth of Cottage Grove, drove her SUV in the wrong direction and collided head-on with a pickup truck on Highway 52 at 80th Street. Tragically, Deboth, who was not wearing a seat belt, passed away from her injuries. The driver of the pickup truck, a 60-year-old man from Birchwood, Wisconsin, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Regions Hospital. The authorities have ruled out alcohol as a factor in the crash and noted that the road was wet during the time of the accident.
