Fatal head-on collision in East Portland
A fatal car accident in East Portland resulted in one person's death and another individual being injured. Portland police responded to the head-on collision just prior to 5 p.m. near Southeast Division Street and Southeast 119th Avenue, leading to a road closure for investigation. One of the vehicles involved had a deceased occupant, while the condition of the other person taken to the hospital remains unknown. The area between Southeast 112th Avenue and Southeast 119th Avenue on Southeast Division Street is currently shut down by police.
