Fatal Fresno crash injures 2, kills elderly woman

A tragic incident occurred in southeast Fresno on Saturday morning, resulting in the death of a woman and hospitalization of two men after a collision between a black Chevy Camaro and a white Lexus sedan at Huntington and Chestnut Avenues. Following the impact, the Lexus collided with a metal fence before coming to a stop. Investigation is underway to determine responsibility for the crash. Both occupants of the Lexus had to be rescued by Fresno firefighters due to the damage, with the 36-year-old male driver sustaining injuries and being taken to a hospital. Unfortunately, the 80-year-old female front passenger passed away at a local hospital. The 26-year-old male driver of the Camaro was also hospitalized but is now in stable condition.
