Fatal farm tractor accident in Jackson County.
Two individuals have tragically passed away following an incident with a farm tractor in Redding Township, Jackson County, Indiana. The Jackson County Sheriff's Department responded to a call about the accident on Monday evening. Emergency personnel, including deputies, Jackson County EMS, Redding Volunteer Fire Department, and Seymour Fire Department, attended the scene. Sadly, a 4-year-old child was fatally injured and pronounced dead at a Seymour hospital. A 68-year-old woman also involved in the incident was airlifted to a Louisville hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries early Wednesday. The Jackson County Sheriff expressed condolences to the affected families and noted that the accident is currently under investigation. The identities of the deceased individuals have not been disclosed by authorities at this time.
