Fatal ejection in Orange County crash
A tragic car accident in Costa Mesa resulted in the death of a 45-year-old man from Los Angeles. The victim, Rene Sanchez, was fatally injured when his sedan collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Red Hill and McCormick avenues on Thursday morning. Costa Mesa Police Department reported that the crash occurred around 6:25 a.m. The other driver involved in the collision stayed at the scene and assisted with the police investigation. Following the accident, the intersection and part of northbound Paularino Avenue were temporarily closed for approximately three hours. Although the roads have since reopened, authorities continue to investigate the incident.
