According to a report from the North Sacramento California Highway Patrol, a tragic car crash occurred on Sunday where a 29-year-old individual lost their life, and two others were found to be driving under the influence. The collision involved two vehicles, a BMW and a Nissan, at Watt Avenue and North Haven Drive around 10:04 p.m. The passenger in the BMW, identified as 29-year-old Volodymyr Molchanovych, did not survive, while the BMW driver, a 26-year-old, was rendered unconscious and hospitalized. The Nissan's passenger also required hospitalization due to complaints of pain. The investigation determined that both drivers were intoxicated at the time of the crash, with the 50-year-old Nissan driver and 26-year-old BMW driver both arrested for driving under the influence. Reports suggest the crash occurred as the BMW was speeding southbound on Watt Avenue, colliding with the turning Nissan as it exited a business driveway, resulting in the tragic outcome.
