Fatal crash with multiple semi-trucks near Grand Ledge leads to Michigan woman's death

A tragic incident occurred when a woman from Portland, Michigan lost her life in a crash near Grand Ledge. The Clinton County Sheriff's Office reported that a series of collisions were triggered after a semi-truck rear-ended her car, involving two other semi-trucks. The woman was the only one in the car and unfortunately passed away at the scene. A 65-year-old man from Georgia, operating one of the semis, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. Another driver, a 34-year-old from southeast Michigan, was unharmed. The authorities are investigating the crash, which took place on I-96 at M-100 to Grand River Hwy between exits 86 and 90.
