Fatal Crash Victims Identified by Fayetteville Police

Police in Fayetteville reported on Saturday evening that a third individual had passed away as a result of a car accident that occurred on Friday, which previously claimed the lives of two people. Authorities released the identities of those who lost their lives in the collision, which took place around 4:25 p.m. in the 1400 block of Cedar Creek Road near LA Dunham Road. According to the Fayetteville Police Department, a Dodge Charger was traveling north on Cedar Creek Road when the driver lost control, veered across the center line, and collided with a Honda traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the Charger, Jermaine Stubbs (42), and his front passenger, Hope Bryant (41), both from Fayetteville, were pronounced dead at the scene. The Honda driver, Marcia Adair-Davis (51) of Fayetteville, succumbed to her injuries at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A third individual in the Dodge was severely injured. The accident occurred approximately one mile west of Interstate 95, with the police attributing the loss of control to excessive speed. Investigations into the crash are ongoing, and individuals with relevant information are encouraged to reach out to Fayetteville Police Detective J. Deal at (910) 584-3692.
