Fatal crash shuts down NC 210 in Harnett County: NCDOT

NC 210 in Harnett County has been reopened following a tragic crash involving three vehicles on Thursday night. The incident resulted in two fatalities and multiple injuries. The NC State Highway Patrol has reported that two individuals lost their lives, six were injured, and five of them are currently in the hospital, with two being juveniles. The victims who passed away have been identified as 26-year-old David Morales Ibanez and 20-year-old Kimberly Michelle Lopez-Mathias. The crash occurred near Angier and Lipscomb Road and led to the closure of NC 210 until the early hours of Friday. The State Highway Patrol's investigation revealed that a 2007 Kia Forte attempted to pass a vehicle in a no passing zone, resulting in a collision with a 2020 Honda CR-V and a 2021 Toyota Camry. While the road has been reopened, authorities continue to investigate the incident.
