Fatal crash reported on Landstar Boulevard in Orange County
Authorities from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a fatal accident on Landstar Boulevard near Island Cove Drive involving two vehicles early Sunday morning. The incident involved a 17-year-old from Orlando driving a Hyundai Santa Fe and a 42-year-old man from Kissimmee driving a Honda CR-V traveling southbound. The Hyundai driver lost control, striking the Honda before veering off the road, hitting a tree. The Hyundai driver was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center and later pronounced dead, while the Honda driver was unharmed and stayed at the scene. The incident is currently being investigated.
