Fatal crash reported in southern Minnesota
Officials are investigating a deadly accident that took place in southern Minnesota on Tuesday afternoon. Details on the number of casualties have not been released by the Minnesota State Patrol. The crash occurred in Cottonwood Township when a Nissan Altima hit a Dodge Caravan that was stopped on Highway 15 due to road work. In the Caravan were a 75-year-old woman and an 83-year-old man from Madelia, Minnesota. The Altima was operated by an 18-year-old woman from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with two 10-year-old passengers. More information is anticipated to be provided by the patrol on Wednesday.
