Fatal crash reported by troopers
Officials from the South Carolina Highway Patrol have reported a fatal single-car crash that occurred early Saturday morning on Martins Lake Road. The incident involved a 2009 Nissan Sedan traveling west which veered off the road, hitting a ditch and a tree before overturning. Sadly, the passenger in the vehicle did not survive, while the condition of the driver remains undisclosed. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed by the coroner at this time.
