Fatal crash reopens SR 160 between Las Vegas and Pahrump

Nevada State Police are currently looking into a fatal accident that took place on Tuesday morning, causing the main road connecting Las Vegas to Pahrump to be shut down for multiple hours. The highway was free for travel again around 6:30 a.m., as noted by the RTC. The collision occurred after midnight in the lanes heading west on State Route 160 at mile 28. Cars heading towards Pahrump from Las Vegas had to take a detour using US 95 north towards State Route 160 to access Pahrump from the valley's northern side.
