Fatal crash on S.R. 44 in Volusia County injures 4 teens.
A tragic accident occurred early Saturday morning on State Road 44 in Volusia County, resulting in one fatality and serious injuries to four others, including three teenagers, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at around 4:10 a.m. between a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 and a 2015 Dodge Charger. The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 43-year-old man, and three passengers of the Dodge Charger, two 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old girl, sustained severe injuries. Regrettably, one 17-year-old girl from the Dodge Charger was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the incident is underway, and the identities of those involved have not been disclosed yet. The probe is ongoing, and updates will be provided as they become available.
