Fatal crash on Southfield Freeway in Detroit claims life of 28-year-old man, according to police.

A tragic incident occurred on Friday night when a 28-year-old man lost his life in a collision on Southfield Freeway in Detroit, Michigan. The Michigan State Police responded to the scene near Schoolcraft Road on the west side of the city at approximately 9:40 p.m. Upon arrival, troopers found the man, a resident of River Rouge, Michigan, trapped in his vehicle in the left lane. Despite efforts to save him, including CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. MSP First Lieutenant Mike Shaw has stated that authorities are currently investigating the details of the crash.
