Fatal crash on Route 1 in Morrisville, PA involves 81-year-old woman, according to Pennsylvania State Police
An elderly woman tragically lost her life in a collision on Route 1 in Morrisville, Bucks County, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon near the Trenton Morrisville Bridge when the 81-year-old Yardley resident was driving her vehicle the wrong way, resulting in a collision with a tractor-trailer. The woman was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey, where she was sadly pronounced deceased. The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to Jefferson Bucks Hospital for treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
