Fatal crash on Route 1 in Bucks County claims life of 81-year-old woman: PSP
The Pennsylvania State Police Troop M - Trevose Patrol Unit is currently looking into a tragic accident that took place on Tuesday afternoon. Around 1:13 p.m., state troopers were called to respond to a collision on State Route 1 near the Trenton Morrisville Bridge involving a 2024 Toyota GR86 and a tractor trailer. According to officials, the driver of the Toyota, an 81-year-old woman, was driving north in the southbound lane when she crashed with the tractor trailer near the Pennsylvania Avenue interchange. The driver of the tractor trailer was taken to Jefferson Bucks Hospital for treatment, while sadly, the 81-year-old woman passed away after being transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton. The victim's identity has not yet been disclosed. The investigation into the crash is actively ongoing by the PSP Trevose Patrol Unit.
