Fatal Crash on Pacific Street Leaves Child Seriously Injured
A tragic accident on Pacific Street over I-680 resulted in the loss of two lives and critical injuries to a child last Friday afternoon. Two other individuals were also hospitalized as a result of the collision between a truck and an SUV. The incident occurred when the truck, attempting a left turn onto I-680 from Pacific Street, crashed into the SUV traveling west on Pacific. This impact caused the SUV to veer down toward the freeway, finally coming to a stop after hitting a large light pole with its rear tailgate. At the moment, authorities have not disclosed which vehicle the deceased victims were occupants of. The intersection remains closed as investigators work on mapping out the scene.
