Fatal crash on Loop 202 due to wrong-way driving: DPS
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials are currently investigating a fatal multi-vehicle collision caused by a driver going the wrong way on the westbound lanes of Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway near Priest Drive in Tempe. The incident led to one fatality and has necessitated the closure of the westbound section of Loop 202 at Center Parkway, with no expected time for it to reopen.
