
Fatal crash on KY 10 leaves one dead, four injured.
A tragic accident occurred on KY 10 on Friday evening resulting in one fatality and four individuals sustaining injuries. The incident, which involved a disabled vehicle being struck by another car, took place around 7:45 p.m. near the 4000 block of KY 10. A 62-year-old man named Brian Heron from Maysville lost his life at the scene, as confirmed by the Mason County Coroner. According to Kentucky State Police, an initial investigation revealed that Heron was trying to move his disabled red Chevrolet Corvette off the road when a black Chevrolet Trailblazer hit him. The Trailblazer had a driver and two passengers inside. Following the collision with Heron, the Trailblazer collided with a black Toyota Camry occupied by a single driver. The driver and a passenger from the Trailblazer, along with the Camry driver, were transported to Meadowview Hospital by Mason County EMS and are reported to be in stable condition. Another passenger from the Trailblazer sustained severe injuries and was airlifted to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
