A tragic accident occurred on Krome Avenue in southwestern Miami-Dade County on Sunday morning, resulting in the death of a woman and leaving a man critically injured. The incident involved a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The motorcycle was heading south on Krome, while a gray Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling north and attempting a left turn into an entrance on 500 SW 117th Ave. The pickup truck crossed into the motorcycle's path, leading to the crash. The occupants of the motorcycle, a man and a woman, were thrown from the vehicle, with the woman losing her life at the scene and the man being hospitalized in critical condition.
