Fatal crash on I-44 in NE Oklahoma involving OTA worker, as per OHP
An employee of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority tragically lost his life in a collision on Monday. The incident occurred in Ottawa County on I-44 near Missouri. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a tractor-trailer veered off the road and struck the OTA employee, named Zachary Rinehart. Another OTA worker, Colton Armstrong, was inside a parked vehicle and suffered critical injuries from the crash. The driver of the tractor-trailer mentioned he had dropped an item and was trying to retrieve it when the accident happened.
