Fatal crash on I-40 at Hall of Fame entrance ramp
In Knoxville, Tennessee, a tragic incident occurred early Friday morning as a woman lost her life in a collision on the I-40 East entrance ramp from Hall of Fame Drive. The Knoxville Police Department was called to the scene at approximately 6:30 a.m. on November 21, 2025. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle had collided with a parked tractor-trailer on the ramp. The driver, a female who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The KPD's crash reconstruction team has taken charge of the investigation into this unfortunate accident.
