Fatal crash on I-35E in DeSoto
DeSoto authorities reported a fatal accident on I-35E early Saturday morning, resulting in the death of one individual and serious injuries to two others. According to police, a 26-year-old man lost control of his van, causing it to overturn on the southbound lanes of I-35 around 2:30 a.m. The man exited the van and was struck and killed by another vehicle while standing on the highway. Additionally, two women in a separate vehicle sustained severe injuries after colliding with both the van and the second vehicle. The identities of those involved have not been disclosed, and the investigation by DeSoto police is still ongoing.
