Fatal crash on I-29 in Platte County
A fatal rollover crash occurred on Interstate 29 in Platte County last Sunday, resulting in one fatality and injuries to two individuals. The incident, which involved a driver trying to avoid another vehicle near Missouri Highway E on the northbound side of the interstate, led to the vehicle veering off the road, overcorrecting, and flipping. The crash caused one occupant to be ejected, resulting in a fatality at the scene, while two others were taken to the hospital for treatment. Following the accident, authorities shut down traffic on the affected part of I-29 for an extended period to conduct investigations.
