Fatal crash on Hwy 26 near Sandy

On Monday, a tragic three-car collision on Hwy 26 led to the death of a 48-year-old individual from Sandy, as reported by Oregon State Police. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. at the Orient Drive intersection. According to officials, a GMC Savannah driver experienced a mechanical issue and rear-ended a Honda Fit, driven by Bryan Ray Robinson, who was slowing down for a traffic light. The impact caused Robinson's vehicle to collide with an Infinity QX5 that was stopped at the light. Unfortunately, Robinson passed away at the scene, while the other two drivers involved sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. The highway was affected for five hours, and authorities are still investigating the crash.
