Fatal crash on Howard Frankland Bridge injures construction workers and kills driver: FHP
A man from Musella, Georgia tragically passed away, and three construction workers were hurt in a collision on the Howard Frankland Bridge on Monday evening. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the 37-year-old man did not yield to construction workers and entered a closed lane in the active construction area, resulting in a crash with a Ford F-550 driven by a 45-year-old Tampa man. Debris from the collision also hit a Nissan Titan driven by an 18-year-old from Largo. The driver of the Ford F-550 and two other construction workers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the Nissan Titan was unharmed in the incident.
