Fatal crash on Highway 120: One dead, two injured
The California Highway Patrol in Stockton responded to a tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon. The incident involved a collision between a Toyota Highlander traveling westbound on Highway 120 and a Hay Squeeze traveling eastbound on the same road near Sexton Road. The driver of the Highlander lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic, resulting in a head-on crash. Tragically, the Highlander driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while two juvenile passengers and the Hay Squeeze driver sustained major injuries. Highway 120 is currently closed in both directions at Sexton Road, and drivers are advised to take alternative routes as traffic is being diverted at Bernnan Road to the east and Van Allen Road to the west.
