Fatal crash on Bustleton street leaves 1 dead, 3 injured
A tragic accident in Philadelphia's Bustleton neighborhood resulted in the death of a 19-year-old man, with the other occupants hospitalized. The incident occurred when a sedan lost control on Red Lion Road Friday night, veering into oncoming traffic after merging. Following a collision with a street sign and paratransit vehicles, emergency responders worked to free all four individuals trapped in the vehicle. The driver and a passenger are in stable condition at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, while another passenger is critical at Abington Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, the 19-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries around 3 a.m. The Philadelphia Police Crash Investigation Division is currently looking into the circumstances of the crash.
