Fatal crash on 60 Freeway in Chino: 2 dead, infant injured
Two individuals tragically lost their lives, and two others were injured, including a baby, in a collision on the westbound 60 Freeway in Chino early Monday morning. Reports of the crash near Reservoir Street came in around 2:15 a.m., prompting the California Highway Patrol to close all lanes with a Sig Alert that lasted for hours. Emergency responders from the Chino Valley Fire District arrived at the scene and provided care to four patients. Unfortunately, two individuals were pronounced dead, while the other two, including the infant, were transported to a local trauma center. The cause of the accident remains unknown as authorities continue to investigate.
