Fatal crash near Richmond Airport leaves man dead, woman in critical condition
A tragic accident occurred early Saturday morning at the intersection of Airport Drive and Audubon Drive near Richmond International Airport. Henrico Police responded to the scene just before 2:15 a.m., where they discovered a man who had died and a woman with life-threatening injuries. The crash led to the closure of Airport Drive between Interstate 64 and Route 60, impacting traffic to the airport. Police advised travelers to use Laburnum Avenue to Route 60 as an alternate route.
