Fatal crash near Hardeeville results in one fatality and one injury
One person has died and another has been injured following a collision between two vehicles on a busy section of highway near Hardeeville. The incident occurred on a Sunday afternoon around 3 p.m. on Us-17, approximately five miles south of Hardeeville. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 2012 Mustang heading south on Us-17 collided head-on with an F-150 traveling north on the same road near Telfair Plantation Drive. The driver of the Mustang was pronounced dead at the scene, while the F-150 driver was transported to a hospital in Savannah for medical treatment. There were no other passengers in either vehicle.
