Fatal crash leaves one dead and two injured in Rockbridge County.
Authorities are currently looking into a fatal collision between two vehicles that occurred in Rockbridge County, Virginia. The incident took place on East Midland Trail and involved a 2018 Jaguar XF and a 2012 Honda Civic on June 4th. A 78-year-old, Melodie Vohar, was driving the Jaguar and unfortunately lost her life in the accident. Despite wearing a seatbelt, the passenger was unharmed. The Honda Civic, operated by a 19-year-old driver and a 24-year-old passenger, collided with the Jaguar. Both individuals in the Honda were injured as they were not wearing seatbelts. They were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
