Fatal crash involving young motorcyclist and older driver
Two individuals tragically lost their lives early Friday in Sabre Springs, San Diego, after a motorcycle and SUV collided at the intersection of Poway Road and Sabre Springs Parkway. The crash occurred around midnight when an 18-year-old female motorcyclist ran a red light while traveling eastbound on Poway Road and hit a Mitsubishi Montero SUV being driven by a 72-year-old man making a left turn with a green arrow signal. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the SUV driver succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.
