Fatal Crash Involving Three Victims at Fountain and Academy
A fatal crash occurred at the crossing of East Fountain Boulevard and Academy Park Loop in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Oct. 18. According to the local police department, one person lost their life, and two others were severely injured in the accident, which took place around 2:15 a.m. Emergency services arrived at the site close to South Academy Boulevard to find one person deceased in one of the vehicles, while the occupants of the other vehicle were transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The investigation has been passed to CSPD's Major Crash Team.
