Fatal crash involving semi-truck and cyclist in northeast Kansas City
A tragic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in northeast Kansas City where a bicyclist lost their life following a collision with a tractor trailer. The accident took place at the intersection of St. John Avenue and North Topping Avenue at approximately 12:49 p.m. According to the authorities, the cyclist was heading south on Topping, which is a one-way street, when they collided with the side of an eastbound semi-truck. Sadly, the cyclist was declared deceased at the scene, and there were no other reported injuries. The incident is currently under investigation.
