Fatal Crash Involving Motorcycle and Car in Adams County
A fatal collision occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Adams County, resulting in the tragic death of a 29-year-old motorcycle rider named Ryan D. Dalton. The incident took place at approximately 3:16 p.m. on Sunrise Avenue near Cosby Street in West Union, when Dalton, operating a 2024 Yamaha R7 motorcycle, collided with the rear of another vehicle while traveling eastbound. Fortunately, the driver of the other car involved was unharmed. The Ohio State Highway Patrol led the investigation, with assistance from various local agencies including the West Union Police Department, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, and emergency responders from West Union Fire and EMS, along with support from the Ohio Department of Transportation.
