Fatal crash involving minibike and dump truck on I-70, Manchester
One individual died following a collision with a dump truck on Interstate 70 late Wednesday evening. The incident took place at the junction of I-70 and Manchester Avenue, prompting a response from the Kansas City Police Department at approximately 10:30 p.m. According to authorities, a dump truck was heading south on Manchester and turning left onto the westbound I-70 ramp when a minibike coming from the north on Manchester collided with the truck. Police noted that the minibike did not have any lights on. The rider was ejected from the minibike and was declared deceased at the scene. The dump truck driver emerged unharmed. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
