Fatal crash injures 2 in Glassboro
A car accident in Glassboro, New Jersey resulted in one fatality and two injured individuals after two vehicles crashed into a utility pole. Authorities suspect narcotics may have been a factor in the collision, which occurred on Mullica Hill Road near Campus Crossings apartments around 11:10 p.m. Sunday. A 27-year-old driver of a 2008 Mazda coupe, John Bessel, lost his life at the scene, while the passenger in his car and the driver of the other vehicle involved were both taken to the hospital. Police believe Bessel, who drifted into oncoming traffic, may have lost consciousness due to drug use. Investigations are ongoing, and law enforcement is urging any witnesses or individuals with footage of the incident to come forward. Additionally, efforts are underway to repair damage to the utility pole and restore power in the affected area.
