Fatal crash in Yorktown involving pregnant woman and man; Driver facing charges.
A driver is facing pending charges in connection with a tragic accident in Yorktown that resulted in the death of two individuals, one of whom was a pregnant woman. The incident occurred on Water Street near Daniels Drive and the Colonial Parkway entrance, as reported by the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office. Witnesses observed a Dodge Challenger speeding and losing control before colliding with a Honda Fit. The crash claimed the life of a 34-year-old pregnant woman who was a passenger in the Honda. Thankfully, the 28-year-old female driver of the Honda survived after receiving treatment for her injuries. The Dodge had two occupants - a 21-year-old passenger who passed away and a 22-year-old driver who sustained injuries and was hospitalized. The driver of the Dodge, identified as Hunter Arnold from Windsor, is facing potential criminal charges. The authorities continue to investigate the accident.
