Fatal crash in Winnetka leaves two dead and baby in critical condition
In Winnetka, Illinois, a tragic accident occurred on Friday evening that resulted in the deaths of two individuals and critical injuries to an infant. The incident took place at the intersection of Church Road and Meadow Road, where two women and a baby in a stroller were struck by a southbound car. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, one victim passed away at the scene and the other succumbed to injuries at the hospital. The infant sustained critical injuries and is currently hospitalized. The driver and a passenger in the vehicle also required medical attention for non-life-threatening injuries. The deceased victim has been identified as Sediqeh Samadi, aged 37, but the second person's identity has not been revealed. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and have found no evidence of foul play.
