Fatal crash in western Wisconsin caused by rear-end collision

Authorities reported a fatal multi-vehicle collision occurring on Sunday afternoon in western Wisconsin. The crash, which occurred at the intersection of Wisconsin Highway 35 and 240th Avenue near the Village of Luck around 1:16 p.m., resulted in the death of a man according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. The collision involved a Toyota pick-up truck being rear-ended by a Chevy Silverado as it slowed down to make a left turn on Highway 35, causing the Toyota to be pushed into the southbound lane where it was struck by a Dodge Ram. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, the driver of the Toyota succumbed to his injuries. The identity of the deceased will be disclosed at a later time, and it has not been confirmed if there were other injuries from the incident. An investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
