Fatal crash in west Houston: Elderly driver killed after vehicle strikes home
A tragic incident occurred in west Houston on Friday evening when a vehicle crashed into a house, resulting in the death of the driver, a 79-year-old woman. The crash took place on Inwood Drive near Beltway 8 and Briar Forest Drive around 6 p.m. According to police, the vehicle was heading north on Inwood and veered off the street, hitting a tree before colliding with the house. Fortunately, there were no other reported injuries. Lt. Larry Crowson of the Houston Police informed FOX 26 that this was the second time in three months that the same house had been struck by a vehicle.
