Fatal crash in Wayne County leaves one dead and three injured

The incident occurred at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Broad Hollow Road and Airport Road, near the Huntington Tri-State Airport. According to Chief Robbie Robson of the Ceredo Volunteer Fire Department, the crash involved two vehicles. Regrettably, one person lost their life, and another was airlifted to a hospital for medical care. Additionally, two other individuals were transported to a hospital by their relatives for treatment. Chief Robson noted that Airport Road was closed due to the crash, prompting travelers going to and from the airport to find alternative routes.
