Fatal crash in Warrick County blamed on wrong-way driver.

Sheriff Mike Wilder mentioned that witnesses at the scene were able to provide details about the events leading up to the accident, including attempts to alert the driver that they were traveling in the wrong direction. Despite dense fog in the area, the sheriff clarified that it was not a major factor at 5 a.m. The accident involved a driver moving west in eastbound lanes without headlights for a significant distance. Sheriff Wilder stated that the unique intersection, including the new displaced left turn, did not contribute to the accident. The sheriff's office utilized a drone to assist in reconstructing the accident, but no names have been disclosed regarding the fatal incident.
