
Fatal crash in Tipton County leads to 2 deaths and 1 serious injury
Two individuals tragically lost their lives and another was seriously injured in a collision in Tipton County, Indiana. The incident took place at the intersection of State Road 19 and County Road 3600 South. Authorities from Indiana State Police, the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office, and Tipton Police Department responded to the scene on Thursday at 4 p.m. The preliminary report by ISP revealed that a 2019 Lincoln traveling northbound on State Road 19 crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2022 Chevy Silverado. The occupants of the Lincoln, 78-year-old Michael Landseade and 78-year-old Virginia Landseade, sadly passed away at the crash site. The driver of the Chevy Silverado, a 49-year-old man from Cicero, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. Authorities have not determined the cause of the Lincoln crossing the center line and ruled out alcohol or drugs as contributing factors. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
