A fatal accident occurred on Sunday night in Spanish Fork when a truck pulling a horse trailer collided with multiple cars waiting at a stoplight at the intersection of U.S. Highway 6 and Spanish Fork Parkway. The collision resulted in the death of one person and injuries to two others, with an additional horse in the trailer sustaining a broken leg. The incident caused the closure of Highway 6 in both directions between Spanish Fork Parkway and Canyon Road, with officials estimating the road to remain closed for a few more hours. Traffic is being redirected onto Canyon Road.
