Fatal crash in Southeast Georgia
A fatal accident occurred in Tattnall County on Wednesday when a log truck and sedan collided at the intersection of Cleon Mosley Road and U.S. Hwy-280 around 9:30 a.m. Sadly, the driver of the sedan passed away at the scene, while the log truck driver was hospitalized for injuries. Medical staff have not provided an update on the truck driver's condition. Multiple emergency response teams including those from Tattnall County Fire, Reidsville Fire Department, Tattnall County Sheriff's Office, Rogers State Prison, and Tattnall EMS promptly arrived at the scene. Georgia State Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
