Fatal crash in South Shore injures 2 others
An inquiry is currently being conducted following a fatal accident that took place on Friday morning in Plymouth, Massachusetts, resulting in the death of a teenager and hospitalization of two others. The collision happened close to 8:30 a.m. near 155 State Road. Plymouth police officers who arrived on the scene discovered a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2025 Honda Civic, both significantly damaged at the front, along with three individuals. The driver of the Honda, an 18-year-old young man from Plymouth, was found unresponsive and was later pronounced dead at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth. The identity of the deceased hasn't been disclosed. A 17-year-old passenger from Plymouth, also in the Honda, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. The Jeep's driver, a 47-year-old woman from Plymouth, was admitted to South Shore Hospital. The cause of the accident is being investigated, and it is uncertain whether any charges will be pressed.
