Fatal crash in Shelburne leaves one person dead
UPDATE: The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office has reported a fatality resulting from a two-vehicle collision in Shelburn on Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on County Road 650 North. One driver was trapped in their vehicle and was unfortunately declared deceased at the scene, while the other driver was taken to Sullivan County Hospital. The authorities do not suspect drugs or alcohol to have played a role in the crash. The Indiana State Police reconstruction team has been called in to assist with the investigation, and the road will be closed for a while for this purpose.
